Review of Miraval Resort Austin

First off I’d like to say that I’d never heard of this spa/resort before I went this summer so I was just looking for relaxation and pampering. I had no idea the kind of following it has but soon realized people come from all the over world to visit these spas. They have yoga, horseback riding, cooking classes, beekeeping and so much more. Their restaurants feature many local ingredients and use fresh ingredients from their farm and their menu focuses on health and nutritious food but is also quite gourmet. If you are looking for a yoga-friendly resort in Texas that is super close to downtown Austin this is your No. 1 bet. I did several yoga classes, massages, and some astrological classes too. Everyone I met was so amazing from the teachers to the staff in the restaurants. I give this spa a 8 out of 10. I didn’t like the pools and wished both of them offered food services and drink service. I also wish they offered room service for people who prefer to be alone during their stay.

I’m really into meditation and yoga, so I loved the beautiful studios and outdoor spaces they have on the property.

There is also a beautiful meditation garden. I’m going to post pictures of that here. This is a magical space where they had several yoga classes that were focused on the pagan calendar and moon cycles.
