Summertime AM Skincare Roundup

The intense summer sun in combination with many hours spent at pools, beaches, lakes, etc. calls for a dramatically different skincare routine. I opt for skincare with more SPF, aloe vera and lavender, and probiotics to help soothe and protect.

Step 1. Cleansers

Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce

Price: $34 on sephora.com

I’ve been using this cleanser for several months now and it cleans without stripping and removes makeup and pollutants from the day. It has lactic and glycolic acid to help gently exfoliate. Blueberries are known for their antioxidant properties and helps fight against free radicals and the hyaluronic acid is a humectant and helps keep replenish moisture in your skin.

Tony Moly Vital Vita 12 Jelly Cleanser

Price: $18 on Tonymoly.us

This Korean skincare brand has been on my radar for the last couple years. I first found it at Ulta but have since been able to also find it at some local Korean beauty boutiques in my neighborhood at a discount retailers like TJ Maxx. This cleanser is great for summer. It is packed with vitamins A, B1, B3, B5, B6, B8, B12, C, E , F, H as well as Niacinamide and Squalane. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t have any strong fragrances either. A little goes a long way too so the 150ml size will last a long time.
